<p>An injection nozzle which distributes a single stream of plastic into a number of streams. The system includes two members, a plastic receiving member and a plastic discharge member which are connectable in a telescoping relationship. The receiving member has a central plastic receiving opening which extends into a number of channels. These channels connect with a similar number of channels in the plastic discharge member which in turn connects with the mould. The nozzle is cheaper to produce and a complete nozzle is not required for each mould because the receiving part be disconnected from the discharge part. Less problems are experienced in maintaining the plastic hot.</p> |
