<p>PURPOSE:To make maintenance operation easy by constituting an image forming body and transfer means to one image forming process unit which is attachably and detachably mounted to the main unit. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum 5, an electrifying electrode 4, a developing device 6, a transfer electrode 9 and a separating electrode 10 are mounted as an integral process unit 16 together with a destaticizing electrode 14, a cleaning device 15, an original illuminating lamp 2 and guide plates 21, 22, 23 on rail- shaped holding members 17, 18 in such a way that the unit can be slidingly attached and detached from said members. A housing is divided to an upper housing 19 and a lower housing 20 and is so constituted that the housing can be opened to above and below by turning the housing 19 around the fulcrum. When the housing is opened, the process kit 16 and other members existing in the part above the A-A' move by belonging to the housing 19 and the members in the part below the A-A' line remain on the lower housing 20 side and the route for conveying recording paper is opened. If the housing is opened and further when the housing is unlocked by raising a front plate 22, the process unit 16 can be pulled off and is easily exchangeable. The recorder which permits extremely easy maintenance is thus manufactured.</p> |
