Dispersions of organic peroxide, e.g., organic peroxydicarbonates, in an aqueous medium are stabilized against homolytic peroxide decomposition at temperatures of from about -5 DEG C. to 20 DEG C. by incorporating into the dispersion, e.g., into the organic peroxide phase, from about 0.05 to about 1 mole percent, basis the organic peroxide, of diphenyl peroxydicarbonate or di(alkyl substituted) phenyl peroxydicarbonate.
