Additives for fertilisers, processes for their manufacture, and their use as nitrification inhibitors are described. These additives consist of dicyandiamide and a water-insoluble inorganic compound having a large specific surface area, such as, for example, various types of silica, furnace dusts resulting from the manufacture of silicon or ferrosilicon, and magnesium aluminium hydrosilicates. The additives remain dispersed in fertiliser solutions for a long time, even at low temperatures. |
