PURPOSE:To reduce critically the traveling friction and to improve remarkably the film strength, lubricity and head touch power by forming a top coat film of di- or trialkylamine having 10-22C alkyl group. CONSTITUTION:A top coat film of 0.01mum thickness is formed on a magnetic layer in an PAr atmosphere under 4X10<-3>Pa pressure using di- or trialkylamine represented by the formula (where R1 is 10-22C alkyl, R2 is alkyl, and R3 is H or alkyl) as an evaporation source. |
