1302755 Component assemblies SIEMENS AG 14 April 1970 [15 April 1969] 17637/70 Heading H1R [Also in Division H3] A magnetic storage arrangement has a laminated base-plate 1, Fig. 2, at least two layers 4, 6, of which are conductive and form a capacitor through which the matching resistors R, Fig. 3, of the drive lines 2, 3 may be grounded. The layers 4, 6, are separated by a thin insulating layer 5 of a fibreglass reinforced resin, and a second capacitor formed of conductive layers 7, 8 may be provided. In this latter case the grounded layer 4 is electrically connected to layer 8 by rivets passing through the baseplate. The capacitor, which is required because it is desired to prevent D.C. flow through the drive lines, may be used to ground matching resistors at both the input and the output ends of the lines, Fig. 1 (not shown), in which case the layer 6 is split into two parts to form two capacitors, one for the input end resistors and one for the ouput end resistors. The capacitor has a low inductance; it may be supplemented by conventional capacitors 14, Fig. 3, mounted with the matching resistor R at the edges of the base-plate. |
