PURPOSE:To obtain a titled copying machine at a low cost by generating a thermal pulse by a thermal head in a state that a magnetic field is impressed to a magnetic belt, developing a magnetic latent image corresponding to said pulse by a magnetic toner, and transferring it. CONSTITUTION:An original 21 is placed on a platen, and thereafter, a bias magnetic field device 6 is closed, and as soon as an information processing operation is started, a magnetic belt 1 starts carrying, and a heat ray radiating device 7 executes a flash exposure. An emitted heat ray reaches a read surface of the original 21, and heat is generated in a colored part. Also, the greater part is reflected in the background part, and a thermal pattern corresponding to density of a picture is generated on the magnetic belt 1. As for the part heated to a curie point temperature or above of a magnetic layer 24 of the magnetic belt 1, the magnetized state annihilates, and as for the colored part exceeding a prescribed density, the magnetizing direction is inverted. This magnetic latent image passes through right above a magnetic latent image read head 8, and also passes through between a thermal head 9 and a bias magnetic field device 11. Subsequently, it is developed by a developing device 12, and a transferred toner image is pressed and fixed. In this way, the reliability is improved, and a picture quality can be stabilized. |
