PURPOSE:To correct torque to be calculated on the basis of the output of a correcting detector, by forming a torque detecting magnetostriction film and a correcting magnetostriction film to which predetermined moment is preliminarily applied while arranging a torque correcting component and a correcting detector. CONSTITUTION:A torque detecting magnetostriction film 2 is wound around and formed to the shaft surface part of a rod shaped shaft 1 to be measured and shows such a shape that a plurality of slits 3 are connected in parallel so as to leave intervals therebetween. A correcting magnetostriction film 4 is wound around and formed to said shaft 1 to be measured and slits 5 are provided thereto. A bobbin 6 is arranged to the outer periphery of the torque detecting magnetostriction film 2 while a bobbin 7 is arranged to the outer periphery of the correcting magnetostriction film 4 and exciting coils 8, 9 are wound around the bobbins 6, 7. A measuring detection coil 10 outputs a signal Va corresponding to applied torque when twist torque is applied to the shaft 1 to be measured while the correcting detection coil 11 outputs a signal Vb. The correction of the output of the measuring detection coil 10 in a load free state is performed by this output. |
