PURPOSE:To promote comfortableness through an auxiliary heater employing a heating resistor and the electricity generator of an automobile, by providing a resistance-heating auxiliary heating unit downstream to the core of a hot-water- type heater. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of cooling water of an engine is low in winter, electricity is applied to a resistance-heating auxiliary heating unit 6 at the time of starting of the engine so that the temperature of a heating resistor rises quickly. Air introduced by a blower 1 is slightly heated by a heater core 9 and heated again by the auxiliary heating unit 6. Therefore, even if the temperature of cooling water of the engine is low, an effect of heating is quickly produced to promote comfortableness. |
