PURPOSE:To improve combustion performance of a burner, by a method wherein regulation is applied to secondary air around a burning flame by forming a plurality of holes on bent parts provided on both sides of a flame opening part. CONSTITUTION:A burner is constituted by joining in an airtight state respectively one another among the upper parts of the right 2 and left 1 of a burner plate and a flame opening part 3 which is placed between the upper part of the right 2 and left 1 of the burner plate. Fuel 4 is injected through a nozzle and spouted through the flame opening part 3 for combustion by passing through a fuel passage 6 from an inlet 5 of the burner along with parimary air. Then bent parts 7 are provided on both sides of a longitudinal direction of the flame opening part 3 and a sudden ascending rate and quantity of secondary air from the lower part is mitigated through draft effect by the bent parts 7. The quantity of the secondary air 8 coming into contact with an external flame part of a flame 10 is regulated also by a large number of holes 9 provided on the bent parts 7.
