PURPOSE:To keep the gap between the leading end of a recording electrode line and the surface of a sheet like electrostatic recording body constant, by mounting an endless contact belt around rolls so as to contact the same with the rear surface of the sheet like electrostatic recording body. CONSTITUTION:During the operation of a printer, the dielectric layer 4 of an endless belt like electrostatic recording body 1 is pressed to the spacer 10 of a recording head 6 at the flat part of the endless belt like elastomer 12 mounted around tension rolls 11. Therefore, the gap between the lower end of a recording electrode 8 and the upper surface of the dielectric layer 4 is kept constant and printing density is kept constant and a good quality transfer article is obtained. |
