PURPOSE:To choose a direction of blowoff in a three-dimensional manner at will, by selectively opening or closing a nozzle unit provided with a fluid blowoff port in the air duct of an air conditioner, and at least three vents provided at circumferential intervals in the throat portion of the nozzle unit and opened into the atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:When a blower switch on a dashboard is turned on to set the blowoff of an air conditioner in a ventilation mode, air is blown off from a duct. When the air passes through the throat portion 23A of a nozzle unit 23, the air involves the air of control chambers 6a-6d. If atmosphere ports 4a-4d are open at that time, the blown-off air flows straight. If one or two of the atmosphere ports 4a-4d, for example, the ports 4a, 4d are open, the pressure of the control chambers 6a, 6d becomes lower than the atmospheric pressure so that the blown- off air flows up leftward. The direction of the blowoff can thus be chosen in a three-dimensional manner at will by the principle of a fluid element, without increasing the resistance to the passing of the air. |
