PURPOSE:To form lining on the end face of a tube with good efficiency by a method in which a thermoplatic resin lining material of an annular form is pressingly hot-bonded to the end face of tube being heated. CONSTITUTION:An object to be treated is supplied in a state of being provided with a lining 2a for its inner surface by a vacuum lining method, etc. The flange portion 11 as the end face of a tube to be lined 2 is heated in a concentrated manner to about 160-250 deg.C, although the heating temperature is different according to kinds of thermoplatic resins. The lining material 2b to be applied to the flange portion 11 as the end of the tube 1 is a thermoplastic synthetic resin, having an annular thin disc plate according to the shape of the end face of the tube. The lining material 2b is pressingly applied to the end face of the tube 1 heated and bonded by melting to the end face. |
