PURPOSE:To obtain a small-size, light-weight dot printing head of high performance and almost free of abrasion by a method in which each tongue piece of a pedal-like plate spring is fixed to a disk yoke on the inside near dot wires, and an armature is fixed on the outside of each tongue piece. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic coil 3 is electrically energized, a magnetic flux to erase the magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 6 is generated, and an armature 8 attracted by a core 2 is released by the strain energy of the tongue piece of the plate spring. At the same time, the tongue piece of the plate spring 9 is restored to the state of being not flexed while contacting with the upside of the disk yoke 7. Higher-order vibration of the tongue piece is restricted thereby, and high-speed printing is permitted with good efficiency. Since the fixed point of the spring 9 is on a flat face, the abrasion of the fixed point portion hardly occurs, and a dot printing head of stable printing characteristics can thus be obtained. |
