PURPOSE:To adjust water thrust at each runner by providing multiple blades at least on the side pressure chamber side of the highest-pressure stage runner and on the back pressure chamber side and side pressure chamber side of other runners respectively in a hydraulic machine having multi-stage runners. CONSTITUTION:Runners 2a, 2b are fitted to main shafts 1a, 1b of volt-connected 5 high and low-pressure stages respectively; the outside back pressure chamber 9 and the side pressure chamber 12a of the high-pressure stage, the inside back pressure chamber 10a of the high-pressure stage and the side pressure chamber 12b of the low-pressure stage, and the water-sealed pressure chamber 11a and the draft tube 8 of the high-pressure stage are communicated with balance pipes 13-15 respectively. In this case, four blades 25a, 25b are fitted to the runner band 23a of the runner 2a and the lower cover 4b of the runner 2b at 90 deg. apart respectively. In addition, four blades 26 are fitted to the runner crown 24 of the runner 2b. Accordingly, water thrust can be adjusted at the runners 2a, 2b individually by the blades 25a, 25b, and 26. |
