PURPOSE:To center easily an optical fiber by fixing the optical fiber with pressure into the central gap formed by at least three rods each of which consists of a rigid body and which are in contact with each other, bundling the fiber and the rods, tightening the rods by a spiral body and providing a sheath to the outside circumference of the rods. CONSTITUTION:An optical fiber 2 is fixed with pressure into the central gap 2rf formed by at least three rods 1, each of which consists of a rigid body and which are in contact with each other. The fiber and the rods are bundled and the rods 1 are tightened by a spiral body 3. A sheath 4 is further provided to the outside circumference of the rods 1 to constitute a connector. |
