Compact lathe with vertical frame

The lathe with a tool support (5) between a headstock (9) and a tailstock (17) has a vertical frame with a slightly larger base (1) and with a system of horizontal slides for these units. The headstock can be secured by bolts, and includes an eccentric bolt arrangement for height adjustment. It can also be adjusted sideways. The tailstock has a projecting rail about half way up for travelling along a guide about half way up both elements having sloping interlocking sliding surfaces. The base slides, on a lower horizontal guide (4). The headstock and tool support also use upper guides (4). The headstock and tailstock have side openings for access to adjusting elements.
