Articulated connection between toilet lids and seats

The articulated elements (4,5) of the toilet seat (11) and lid (12) which form a support (1) to be fixed to the back of the pan are covered by upright blind sleeves (6,7). These have a base or larger dia. and anchorage ribs round their perimeter. The sleeves can be pressed into the axial cavities of corresponding bearings (10') set in the underneath of the seat ring and lid near their rear edge (13). The tubular bearings have at each cut-out sections which allow access for to the inclined articulated bodies.
