The invention relates to an arrangement for balancing and transformation lines in the transmission points of broadcasting stations. Balancing and transformation lines are used as the transition between in each case one cable which is unbalanced with respect to earth and one double line which is balanced with respect to earth for the connection of an antenna, which is balanced with respect to earth, to a transmitter having an output which is unbalanced with respect to earth, a cable balancing network being arranged parallel to the cable and a plurality of balancing and transformation lines being arranged side-by-side. The invention is based on the object of reducing the respective separation between the balancing and transformation lines with minimum cross-coupling. This is achieved according to the invention in that the cable balancing networks and the cables which are unbalanced with respect to earth are arranged alternately offset through 90 DEG with respect to one another, so that the associated electrical fields are polarised alternately vertically and horizontally and the balancing and transformation lines are at a small distance from one another, with minimum cross-coupling. <IMAGE>
