In a device for adjusting the swivel arm of the joint of a radius arm for guiding a vehicle wheel, a bearing bushing of the radius arm joint is mounted on a hinge bolt which is held between carrying legs and is radially adjustable at least in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the radius arm by means of eccentric elements. In order to ensure at any time a sensitive radial adjustment of the hinge bolt despite the occurrence of corrosion between the bearing surfaces of bearing bushing and hinge bolt, the hinge bolt is mounted inside the bearing bushing so as to be free of play only in its end regions and between the bearing points of the bearing bushing an annular gap is present between said bearing bushing and the hinge bolt. In this way, frictional corrosion occurring at the bearing points can be easily overcome when the hinge bolt rotates and corrosion products can collect in the annular gap and thus no longer lead to jamming.
