<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the displacement of the iron core by placing a bobbin in the vicinity of the center of the electromagnetic section and fabricating the bobbin in a transformable shape when the bobbin is fastened and fixed with exterior material members such as a cover and a base. CONSTITUTION:A protrusion 78 of the iron core stop 70 is so placed above the confronting-side flange 76 that its height h1 is greater than that of the flange 76, and the flanges on both sides of the protrusion 78 are provided with cutouts 80 to facilitate the transformation of the whole of the iron core stop 70 including the protrusion 78 in the direction of the I-type core 5. A confronting-side step section 77 and a non-confronting-side step section 75 are provided below the flange 76 and the terminal-side flange 74 where the height h2 of the step section 76 > the height of the step section 74, and h4>h2>h3 for thickness of the base plates. Two molded bobbins 7 are confronted, penetrated with a core 5 and fitted with E-type yokes 6 from both sides to form an electromagnetic section 2, which is covered with exterior material members such as a base 8 and a cover 9, followed by depression from both flanks and the upper side to tighten and fix the ballast 1. By this, the bobbin 7 is distorted into a V-shape so to press the stop 70 against the core 5. Thus displacing motion of the core 5 can be completely prevented.</p> |
