In this clamping device there is a clamping body with an elongated hole and also a clamping disc for a bolt nut, so that via the latter a gripping and self-blocking of the clamping device via its wedge faces takes place, the end face of the bolt nut facing the wedge disc being at least partly spherically raised, but the surface region of the wedge disc, which is turned towards this end face and serves as a seat therefor, being constructed at least partly spherically concave, in particular in the form of a hollow sphere.
