Separating device has a thrust drive and a gravity-roller conveyor, and between the conveyor delivering the moulds and removing the separation moulding boxes there is a translating element. In each case the separating device takes up one individual box, and the translating element grips one individual box as well as one box from the pair in each work cycle and plates it at the same height position onto the roller-conveyor.
