The mobile mine is designed to move over the ground, in order to deliver a charge of high explosive to the target. It incorporates a pair of endless tracks (3), which pass over a number of sprockets (4,5,6) and which may be differentially driven and braked. The driving system may be an IC engine, an electric motor with batteries, or clockwork. The forward run (7) of the tracks are at an optimum angle to enable the mine to climb over obstacles. At the forward end of the mine there is a position sensor (9) and a control computer (10) and the explosive charge (2) is in the central portion.
