The invention relates to a comfortable shoe liner having odour-adsorbent properties. The liner comprises a base of rubberised coconut or rubberised hair in which peat particles are embedded. This active peat layer is the carrier of the odour-adsorbent microorganisms, which are provided with nutrition through foot sweat and are aerated by constant loading and unloading during walking. This ensures long-term effectiveness and constant regeneration.
