A portable solar-electric power-supply apparatus for supplying accumulator-operated, rechargeable, network-independent loads, especially voice radio apparatuses which are used continuously. The power-supply apparatus has an integrated electronic monitoring device which on the one hand determines and displays the charge current and on the other hand determines the voltage of the load which is supplied from the power-supply apparatus, carries out an assessment for dangerous operating states of the load accumulator (that is to say for over or under voltage) and displays said assessment. The displays are preferably implemented by means of optoelectronic devices which are insensitive to vibration, for mobile use of the apparatus.
