For an automatic vending machine having a plurality of product shafts for the stacked reception of product packs, the rear wall common to all the product shafts is equipped with a grid. Product-ejecting devices are provided and are so designed that they can be inserted into and fastened in this grid at a height to be determined by the user. At the same time, a plurality of product-dispensing devices can be inserted within one product shaft. The product-dispensing devices, which are equipped with an individual drive, are preferably connected to a central control unit by means of cables and plug connections.
