PURPOSE:To prevent the adherence of obstacles such as clay, etc., to a rotary excavating cutter by providing a soil removing plate to the inner surface of the drag head case in such a way as to project it between blades provided on the periphery of the cutter in the dredging work of the seabed. CONSTITUTION:A drag head body 3 consisting of a drag head case 22, etc., is rotatably attached through a hinge 21 to a suction port part 20, and a rotary excavating cutter 23 is provided inside the body 3. Many blades 13 are provided in a teeth row form along the periphery of the cutter 23 in such a way as to form a cutting edge circle 15 during the working period of the cutter 23. A soil removing plate 17 is projectionally provided toward between the blades 13 from the inner surface of the case 22 in such a way as to enable the plate 17 to pass through the blades 13 when the cutter 23 is turned. Since clay, stones, etc., are removed from the blades 13, dredging work with good efficiency can be continued. |
