摘要 |
<p>Unidirectionally magnetised soft film is used with an axis of magnetisation normal to its surface and defining varying energy regions moves required domains by laser irradiation and temp. gradients. A 2.0 microns thick (TmBi)3(FeGa)5012 soft film is formed on a garnet substrate, and recessed regions (21) 500 Angstroms deep are defined in it by 6 micron square stepped sides (22). An information bubble (b) is moved between stable points (A,B) within a recessed region or transferred to another track to give a cue bubble (c.b.) by continuous laser irradiation.</p> |
