The lifting of the heaviest doors and steel gates into position is substantially facilitated by a simple aid utilising the principle of the lever. The risk of accidents (crushing of the fingers) during the assembly of steel doors is eliminated. Damage to valuable heavy wooden doors is completely avoided. Doors up to 500 kg can be lifted into position without problem by means of the appliance. The doors stored at the building site are put onto the supporting frame by two men and are moved to the built-in casing. Precise approach to the door hinges is ensured and inserting the ball bearings is childishly simple. The lever path bridges a height difference of 160 mm and can be further increased by exchanging the wheels. In summary it is to be said that: This tool shortens the working time considerably, there is no damage to valuable heavy wooden doors, the heaviest doors can be assembled by two men, hazardous work has been eliminated, maintenance-free implement.
