With this yarn-tension indicator for continuously measuring the yarn tension during the winding of strands, impregnated with laminating resin, of a reinforcing material consisting preferably of glass-fibre or carbon-fibre rovings or yarns, the object is to make it possible to read off the yarn tension continuously during the working operation and at the same time compensate unequal draw-off forces, such as can occur during the unrolling of the reinforcing material from the bobbins. For this, there are three guide elements which are arranged at the corner points of an imaginary triangle in such a way that a winding strand, which comes from an impregnating bath and is impregnated with laminating resin and the run-off of which is inhibited by an adjustable tensioning device, can be guided under the first guide element and beyond the second guide element to the third guide element, the second guide element being vertically displaceable counter to the force of a spring, and this displacement being measurable.
