发明名称 DEVELOPING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve image density and reproducibility of fine lines by specifying the nearest distance between a photosensitive body having photoconductivity and a rotatable developing sleeve contg. a magnet, forming a carrier of spherical ferrite in a specific grain size range and incorporating carbon of an amt. in a specific range into a toner. CONSTITUTION:The nearest distance between a drum-shaped photosensitive body 10 having photoconductivity and a rotatable developing sleeve 8 contg. a magnet 9 is set in a 0.5-2mm. range. A magnetic brush is formed on the developing sleeve by using a mixed developer 13 of which the toner contains 10-20pts. carbon with respect to the constituting resin thereof and the carrier is spherical ferrite having 20-100mu average grain size. The electrostatic latent image on the surface of the photosensitive body 10 is thus developed. The development which provides high image density, improves the uniformity in the solid black part and has good reproducibility without collapsion of fine lines is thus made possible.
