PURPOSE:To enable the optional setting of the position of an original to be set on an original plate at a desired region with the operating part of a main unit by forming the glass plate of the original plate into a dot matrix shape by using a liquid crystal display plate and controlling the driving thereof by a driver circuit. CONSTITUTION:A part of an original required to be copied is assumed to be the region (x) enclosed by vertical and horizontal (r) and (l). An operator sets first the original on the liquid crystal display plate 42 of an original plate in the position where the centerline of the original coincides with an index 46. When an operating part 45 is operated by the operator in conformity with the original size, the plate 42 reflects the light from a lamp for irradiation, and a reflection region (y) is obtd. on the plate 42. One corner part (z) of the partial region (x) of the original is thereupon moved by the part 45 via a driver circuit 47 and if (l) and (r) are determined, the region (x) is indicated as a transparent region by the plate 42. The copy of the partial region (x) is obtd. on paper P when a copying button is pushed in such a state. |
