PURPOSE:To shorten a processing time by transferring the job of a heavy load computer to a light load computer to execute the job and returning the processed result in a network constituted of small personal computers. CONSTITUTION:Respective personal computers have independent functions and data communication between different personal computers is executed by using a packet. A local personal computer requesting a job to another remote personal computer checks the status of the remote personal computer, and when both the number of bytes and the number of working processes of a using memory are at threshold value or less, the remote personal computer is regarded as a light load device and decided as ''idle''. Then, simple information is collected from all the personal computers to determine an active personal computer. The working status information of the active personal computer is collected and the ''idle'' personal computer detected at first is determined as a job-requested personal computer. A requested device selecting part 15 is started to select the requested personal computer and transfer the job to the selected device. |
