PURPOSE:To prevent poor stowage and dropping of pallets, by a method wherein a pallet, supported at 4 points through a link mechanism, is vertically moved with the aid of a pneumatic cylinder disposed inside a chain conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 1, conveyed around a lifter mechanism by means of a conveying chain 6, is lifted through interlocking of a shaft 22, which is rotated with a driving lever 18 pulled through operation of a pneumatic cylinder 17, a lift lever 21, a coupling lever 19, a coupling lever 20, a coupling lever 19', a shaft 23, and a lift lever 21'. A fork 2 of a stacker crane is interposed in a space formed as a result of such lifting to receive the pallet 1. When the pallet 1 is loaded onto a chain conveyor, the sequence of operations is reversed. This constitution enables poor stowage and dropping of the pallet to be prevented. |
