This method controls a local-line by hardware without the help of a microprocessor controlling the entire system. To maximize the efficiency of a multi-PCM microprocessor, a loca-line is controlled by selectively extracting only data concerning the local-line among the message constructing data from the PCM voice signal exchanging circuit, which converts input signals into output signals via hardware system. In the block diagram (100) is the inverting circuit of the PCM voice signal, (200) is the data selecting circuit of the local-line, (330) is the D type ratch, (340) is the dial pulse generator, (355) is the driving circuit of relay and (400) is the retriggerable-monostable multivibrator.
