PURPOSE:To shorten a time corresponding to a sampling time and to improve response by controlling the statistical error to the measured result of the time rate of inputted random pulses from the external. CONSTITUTION:The time rate of inputted random pulses and the statistical error to the time rate are numerically operated 105 from respective counted values of a pulse counter 101 and a clock counter 103. The statistical error E is compared with a set value read out from a statistical error setter 104, and if the error E exceeds the set value, repeating operation started from the reading and inputting of the counted value of the counter 101 is restored. If the error E is lower than the set value, the time rate R of the inputted random pulses is outputted to the external, the counted values of the counters 101, 103 are reset to zero and then the repeating operation started from the reading and inputting of the counted value of the counter 101 is restored. Consequently, the time rate setting up the error E to the time rate of a random pulse less than the set value can be obtained. |
