<p>A U-shape cross-sections profile has a flange rim (6,7) to clamp around the wall (1) surrounding a door or window opening. The jaws are connected via a fastening (27). EAch clamp jaw (9,10) comprises a steel sheet bent over longitudinally and profiled over its length as a gutter profile, with flanges adjoining the gutter sides. The curved profile allows the jaw to have a rigid form despite the small thickness of material. The jaws are drawn together by bolts (20). The flange rims may be welded to the clamp jaws. Hooks can also be provided between the jaw halves, so that they move as one even before tightening.</p> |
