PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform speed detection, by a simple accessory circuit constituted so as to measure a time required in passing a piston between two detection switches, parallelly arranged along the moving direction of said piston, by using a reference pulse. CONSTITUTION:The piston 2 moving in a cylinder 1 is formed of a magnetic body while a cylinder speed sensor 3 is directly attached to the cylinder 1 and equipped with parallelly provided detection switches SW-1, SW-2. In this sensor 3, a measuring circuit consisting of an oscillator 4 for generating a reference pulse and AND gates 5, 6 is assembled. The reference pulse sent out from the AND gate 6 corresponding to the operation of the detection switches SW-1, SW-2 is applied to a counter 7 and an address is indicated on the basis of the value of the counter 7 by memory 8 such as ROM and the content of said address is displayed as the moving speed of the piston 2 by a display device 9. |
