<p>The three point suspended unit intended for cutting and distributing silage blocks, includes three superimposed sets of cutting rollers. These have upstanding edges of helical configuration. Each has a drive wheel connected to an endless drive chain, which via tensioning rollers is kept at required tension. The centre drive wheel is via an endless main drive chain, connected to a take-off spindle. A tension roller controls the unit. A bottom plate includes a load edge. A baffle plate is adjustably fitted between an actuating cylinder and a chain and also includes a reversing and guide roller system.</p> |
