PURPOSE:To prevent that large amount of dust, which used to be produced when the corn is dropped, from flying loose to outside the machine by blocking the exhaust port of the corn collecting hopper with an exhaust trough. CONSTITUTION:Hot wind from a hot wind generator is sent into a blower cylinder 29 whose discharge port is fronting to between adjoining drying rooms 4, 4, and because the hot wind discharged out of this discharge port penetrates these drying rooms 4, 4, the corn flowing down in each drying room 4 is dried by hot wind while its flow-down speed is adjusted by respective rotary valves 6, to flow down then into a corn collecting hopper 10 from respective flow-off mouths 5 upon completion of the drying. The corn collected in said corn collecting hopper 10 passes through openings 16, 16 on the right and left to drop into a lower half trough part 14, and is transferred to a sprocket wheel 21 by scratch vanes 24 on the exhaust surface 25a of an exhaust conveyor 25 to be finally released to a takeout hopper 28 from the final end of said lower hald trough part 14. |
