PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of work station by rotating a pallet in vertical attitude for holding a work on the front face as it is to convert the attitude then directing each sideface on the outercircumference upward to enable working from upper side. CONSTITUTION:A pallet 4 in vertical attitude having a work on the front face is led unilaterally on transfer line and worked at each work station then rotary attitude conversion is performed at the attitude converting station 8 to direct the working face upward. In other word, the pallet 4 is held in vertical attitude between upper and lower guiderails 5a while the upper and lower clamping clocks 18 will close to couple the pallet 4 to the leading edge of operating rod 13. When advancing the rod 13 in accordance to the piston 12, the pallet 4 will advance accordingly to open the rails 5a vertically. Consequently, when rotating the rod 13 without hindering advance of pallet 4, the attitude of pallet 14 can be converted by 90 deg. or 180 deg. together with the work, resulting in simplification of each work station. |
