PURPOSE:To prevent sheets from being stained and failing in transfer, by providing a copy gripping section, a rotating section for rotating the copy gripping section and a shit section for moving the afore mentioned both sections. CONSTITUTION:After confirming that a copy P is pulled up by a copy absorbing device, gripping plates 1, 2 are opened, and a copy transfer device starts to move in the direction indicated by the arrow E, and then stops when end detecting sensors 7, 8 detect one end of the copy P. Thereafter the gripping plates 1, 2 are closed by means of a spring 6 so that the end of the copy P is clamped between copy gripping members 9. The thus clamped copy P is transferred in the direction indicated by the arrow E and is stopped at a copy read-out position. Then, the gripping plates 1, 2 between which the copy P is clamped rotate by a predetermined angle in the direction indicated by the arrow A so that the surface of the copy to be read is made easy to contact with the upper surface of a platen glass, and thereafter the copy is read out. After reading out of the copy, an arm 11 rotates around an auxiliary reversing cover 81 to reverse the copy P. |
