PURPOSE:To prevent the signal deterioration between a magnetic head and a preamplifier circuit and at the same time to decrease the number of connection lines between a head drum assembly and the outside, by incorporating the preamplifier circuit to said head assembly. CONSTITUTION:A rotary transformer 9 which performs transmission of signals by a mobile coil 9a and a fixed coil 9b is provided between the lower surface side of a hub 5b fixed to a shaft 5a of a motor 5 and the upper surface side of a lower head drum 4. The transformer 9 transfers signals between a rotary magnetic head 2 and the outside. A circuit base board 12 is welded to the boss part of the drum 4 via an insulated spacer 11, and preamplifier circuits 13 and 14 are set to the board 12 to amplify the signal given from the head 2. While connectors 15 and 16 are attached to the fringe of the lower surface side of the board 12. Then signal lines 15a and 15b led from a pulse generator are connected to the connector 15. While output signal lines 16a, 16b, etc. are connected to the connector 16. |
