PURPOSE:To stick well a developer to an electrostatic image and to reduce the scattering of the developer by subjecting the surface of an image forming body obtd. by covering a photoconductive photosensitive layer with a transparent insulating layer to primary electrostatic charge, secondary electrostatic charge and imagewise exposure. CONSTITUTION:An electrically conductive substrate 1a of Al, Ni or the like is covered with a photoconductive photosensitive layer 1b of Se, CdS, Si or the like, the layer 1b is covered with a transparent insulating layer 1c of a transparent resin or the like, and the substrate 1a is grounded to obtain an image forming body. The surface of the image forming body is subjected to primary electrostatic charge, secondary electrostatic charge and imagewise exposure. A developer is well stuck to a formed electrostatic image, and the scattering of the developer can be prevented. |
