<p>PURPOSE:To secure such a steering wheel as being less errors in switching operation and capable of performing the switching operation in an easy manner, by installing a switch operating unit for electrical machinery and equipment in a pad part of the steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:A steering wheel consists of a ring part 1, a boss part, a spoke part 7 coupling the ring part and the boss part together, and a pad part 3 solidly locked to an upper part of the boss part. The pad part 3 is provided with three switches 4, 5 and 6, and these switches are auto-driving ones in type, and the switch 4 makes up a resume switch, the switch 5 a set switch and the switch 6 a present one, respectively. Each operation unit for these switches 4 and 6 is of a lever type capable of switch-inputting by pulling it from the lower side to the upper sided while the switch 5 is of push-buttom one in type, that is, when a control buttom 53 is pushed, switch-inputting takes place.</p> |
