PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly conduct the turning operation of a tractor in both forward and backward movements with no jack-knife motion taking place, by steering a tractor with the front weels and the rear wheels are interlocked together. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 53 is rotated, a power cylinder 61 is actuated to swing an arm 103 through an arm 65 and connecting rod 107. The swing of the arm 103 is transmitted through connecting rods 95, 109 to the front and rear wheels 17, 13 which are therefore simultaneously steered, and simultaneously, the opposite front and rear wheels 17, 13 are associatingly steered by means of rods 83, 93. The left and right front wheels 17 and the left and right rear wheels 13 are so arranged that they are rolled on a circle having a turning center point on the axial line of the rear wheels 11 of the tractor 3. Accordingly, the turning operation of the tractor in both forward and backward movements may be smoothly carrier out. |
