PURPOSE:To manufacture a grooved pulley made of steel plate having accuracy in roundness by recessing annular grooves in a circular steel-plate stock to press-form an original shape of grooved pulley and pressing grooved wheels against the rim of pulley. CONSTITUTION:In the 1st stage, the prescribed number of preliminary grooves 1'' are concentrically recessed in the section of the stock dimension based on the width of rim at the outer circumference of the diameter D of a finished grooved pulley in the circular steel plate stock A. In the 2nd stage, a rim 6 is perpendiculary formed from the circumference of an axial part 3 by press working. In the 3rd stage, annular grooves having desired cross-sectional shapes are recessed in the traces of preliminary recessed grooves 1'' in the whole circumference of rim 6, by press-rolling a grooved wheel against the rim 6 from its outer circumference and press-rolling a grooved wheel for inner circumference against the rim 6 from its inner circumference. |
