PURPOSE:To obtain a scroll compressor protecting an Oldham's mechanism and improving reliability, by providing key grooves and notches, extended in a sliding direction on at least one of the sliding contact surfaces of keys fitted into these key grooves, in the Oldham's mechanism. CONSTITUTION:An Oldham's mechanism is formed by a key groove provided in an end plate, key grooves 132a, 132b provided on a frame 102 and a ring 135 providing keys 133a, 133b, 134a, 134b fitted into these key grooves. Each key groove forms in its internal side a notch, that is, a port spreading stepped part extended in a sliding direction. In this way, seizure of the Oldham's mechanism is prevented, and its cooling can be also promoted by gas flowing through the notch. |
