The display function (1-4) of the information installation is controlled from VDU's with keyboards (13-17). The individual display units (1-4) are interconnected by a network (6-11), and are directly or indirectly connected to the VDU's (13-17) via control lines (18-22). Two or more display units (1-4) are directly connected to each other via an internal connection (6,7,12), and the control VDU's (13) corresp. to the display units, are connected via information lines (18) to the internal connections. - A common central control point (28) for the units is connected to the network and incorporates circuitry partly for reception and storage of data communications and partly to address current data communications to the required display unit. The display technique used is suitable for both electro chromic or liquid crystal elements. |
